If you add/drop courses during the first five days of a fall or spring semester (summer will depend on the part of term you are registered for as far as the day you drop) you will receive a full refund for classes dropped and charges for classes added will be due immediately. Students also may drop classes with special permission of the dean through the 12th class day of a fall, spring, or 10-week summer term.
NOTE-There are no refunds for Q-dropped classes and any credit balance on a student account as a result of dropping courses will not be refunded until after the fifth class day. Once the semester has started students may not drop all of their courses through the drop/add process, but instead must go to the office of their Dean to officially withdraw.
