Payment Plan

Tuition, most required fees, room, board, and parking are included in the payment plan which consists of four auto-scheduled payments throughout the semester. You will not be able to select between the Payment Plan or the Payment in Full until your bill statement becomes available on the date indicated on the Student Business Services Due Dates webpage.

A $50 service charge to cover the cost for handling will be assessed to each student choosing to sign up for the payment plan at the beginning of each semester.

Students can pay in advance at any time during a semester; however, the service charge will not be refunded. Students who wish to sign up for the payment plan can select this option through the Howdy Portal by selecting the Payment/Refund (Student Access) card and then selecting the Payment Plans tab. The Payment Plan is an option that students can sign up for at the beginning of each semester. Under this plan, there are penalties for missing a payment by the specified due dates. Student Business Services may assess a late payment penalty for each payment not received on or before its payment due date. 

Students may also be subject to late registration charges and cancellation of courses if a scheduled payment under this plan is rejected, meaning there were insufficient funds in the account. 

Steps to Sign Up for the Payment Plan

• Log in to the secure Howdy Portal and click on the Payment/Refund (Student Access) card
• From the Account Summary tab select Enroll in Plan or go to the Payment Plans tab 
• Select a plan from the offers that are displayed.
• Confirm the balance amount for the plan. The monthly due date and installment amounts for the automatic withdrawals will be displayed.
• Add or select a preferred payment method.
• Complete plan setup by paying the $50.00 non-refundable sign-up fee immediately and agreeing to the terms and conditions provided.
