How do I resolve a "Email ssb@tamu.edu" (T3/T5) hold?

"Email ssb@tamu.edu" (T3/T5) holds are placed when students have a conditional credit from a third party sponsor who has requested that the contracted amount the sponsor is responsible for paying be reduced in the event the student receives certain types of financial aid.  These holds remain on the student's account to ensure that refunds are not issued automatically.  


If you have an unrefunded credit balance on your student account and an active T3/T5 hold, please email ssb@tamu.edu.   SSB (Specialized Student Billing) will contact your third party sponsor to find out if the credit balance can be refunded to you or if the contracted amount should be reduced.


Please note, T3/T5 holds do NOT hold registration or transcripts.  T3/T5 holds only prevent refunds from being automatically generated from your student account.
