How do I resolve a "Past Due Loan - MyAggieLoans" (TL) or "Loan Extension Agreement" (TN) hold?

"Past Due Loan - MyAggieLoans" (TL) or "Loan Extension Agreement" (TN) hold holds are placed on Short Term and Emergency Tuition and Fee Loans when they become past due. To resolve your TL or TN hold, follow the steps below. 


  • Log in to MyAggieLoans.tamu.edu with your Net ID and password. 
  • Pay your past due loan(s) in full with a credit card/debit card (convenience fee added) to have your TL or TN hold removed within one. Holds for loans paid in full with electronic checks will only be removed after 5 business days or with proof that payment has cleared your bank account.  Proof of payment can be a screenshot from your bank account showing that the payment has cleared your account and is not in pending status. 
  • If you are unable to pay your loan in full, please contact loans@tamu.edu with your plan to repay this debt and determine options for temporary hold removal.
