Parent PLUS Loan borrowers who are expecting a refund from their loan are able to sign up to receive the refund by direct deposit through our refund servicer, Flywire. Please follow the steps below to set up direct deposit today.
Steps to Set up Direct Deposit with Flywire:
1. Instruct your student to add you as an Authorized User in the Bill Payment suite if you don't already have access. Visit Bill Payment Instructions for additional information.
2. Log in to your Authorized User account at billpay.tamu.edu.
3. Go to the eRefunds tab, then select Enroll for eRefunds.
4. Enter the Last 4 of your SSN and your Zip Code, then select Continue. This information is needed to match your Authorized User account to your Parent PLUS Loan application.
5. Fill out all required banking information and Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
4. Click on Submit.
5. Review and Confirm.
Please note that this does not change the deliver method of other types of financial aid or refunds from your student's account. Those refunds will still be sent to Flywire and disbursed via the delivery method the student set up.
Reminders:
- Parent PLUS loans are delivered to the university electronically, posted to the student account, and applied toward applicable charges. Any remaining credit is then refunded.
- During the application and approval process for the loans, parents had the option of receiving the refund directly or allowing it to be disbursed to the student.
